CEREAL KNEEDING TECHNOLOGY

KNEEDING - RIGHT PROCEDURE FOR SUCCESSFUL FARM

WHY IS KNEEDING PROFITABLE?

• No drying costs

• Low energy costs

• Cattle forage for good appetite

• Less dependence on weather conditions

• Longer period of yield collection

• Up to 30% higher yield (dry matter)

• Increased utilization of cereals

• Variety of options for achieving higher yields

• Ability to collect yields three weeks earlier, when the nutrient content is at maximum

Filling wrought cereals in "sausage"

• You do not need any silos, or drier

• A single operation is needed for kneading and preserving of grain cereals

• A simple and fast method

• System of grain preservation, ensures optimal productivity

Storage in the "sausage" is a modern method!

“Food  consumption is obviously better. The coefficient of preservation is 100%, while emptying  the bag (sausage) is easier than expected" - Esko Viitala, Jalasjärvi, Finland

"It is well conserved and it can be unpacked" - Kari Metso, Anjalankoski, Finland

"Unsurpassed method of crushing the grain. Easy removing from the bag "- Ari harm, Liminka, Finland

"Excellent food for pigs technology in liquid diet. Kneading in the "sausages" for us is perfect "- Teuvo Tikkanen, Nivala, Finland

"Good food without impurities at low cost" - Vesa Pasanen, Kiuruvesi, Finland

"An effective method that does not require silos. The mixture is suitable for feeding "- Jari Laukkonen, Kortesjärvi, Finland

"Good and cheap fodder. There is no need to spend money on silos. The collection is fast, while the potential collection period is still long enough. Feeder automatically performs feeding "- Jukka Rahja, Kalajoki, Finland

  Quality and cost effective fodder

With the help of kneading technology in a cost effective manner, it is possible to produce quality food for livestock and poultry. Due to reduced investments (drying, storage), as well as reducing energy costs (fuel, electricity) profitability of production is increasing. Costs of wrought grains are much lower than the cost of dried cereals.

Flattened grains are ready for consumption without any processing. They can be used directly from the warehouse or as components of mixtures (Total Mixed Ration, TMR for cows) or as a liquid feed for pigs. Silage by grain crushing is based on fermentation, driven by lactic acid bacteria. Suitable environment for the fermentation of lactic acid can be provided by reducing the pH of wrought cereal at 4 and creating anaerobic conditions.

PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGY AND COLLECTION OF YIELD

Cereals intended for kneading may be grown in a similar manner as cereals intended for drying, except that kneading grains are collected 3-4 weeks in earlier while they are still yellow. Namely, for the energy and protein composition of the grains at their maximum level. Earlier collection allows the cultivation of later varieties with higher yield potential. The usage of fertilizer is more elastic, and manure can be freely used. Cereals are yellowish, softer and larger than mature grain.

The percentage of moisture is usually between 30 and 40 percent.

Crushing and ensiling

Special  Murska kneading machine is using for grain processing. Additives used during kneading are placed in kneader to mix equally with cereals.

Crushed grains are with high humidity percentage and can easily be compressed to displace the air.

If mashing grains performs on the field, grains from the combine are directly filled into the kneader where simultaneously kneading and application of additives starts. At the end flattened grains are placed on a trailer by elevators and transported to the storage place.

  STORAGE

Crushed grains can be stored in airtight "sausages", in silo-Trench, in bunkers or in anaerobic silo towers.

High quality and economical fodder obtained by crushing cereal

- Flattened grains have a high nutritional value

- Flattened grains are ideal for the mixture

- Flattened grains could be given to livestock and poultry

- The cost per energy unit with wrought grains are smaller than the dried grains

- Utilization of phosphorus in swine and poultry industry is much better in the case of wrought  than dried grains consumption.

- Flattened grains fit into liquid feeding systems

- Flattened grains are without impurities

- Kneading is a way of grain processing, which requires small energy costs

- Kneading allows collection of the late varieties of grain and corn, a collection can be carried out in various weather conditions

- Drying capacity are not limiting the collection

- Kneading can be lengthen till harvest in the fall.

Quality food for livestock and poultry

Despite earlier performed collection of yield, nutrient content in the crushed grains is similar to grains collected in a mature state.

Cuds

Cattle, which consumes flattened grains grows the same, even faster than those who get dried grains. Numerous studies are confirming that dairy cows which are consuming wrought cereals are giving larger amount of milk for 10-15 percent. In the case of ruminants full nutritional value of wrought cereals are higher than the nutritional value of dried cereals.

The actual amount of wrought grain used to feed, or the amount used for the mixture is larger than the amount of dry cereal, since the content of dry matter content of  wrought cereals is lower. Otherwise, flattened grains can be administered as dry grains, therefore feeding can completely replace dry cereals.

Pigs

Crushed grains can be given to pigs. They are ideal for liquid feed. Deviation from 8-10% of the dry matter in the grain in practice has no influence on the daily growth or coefficient of utilization. The content of vitamin E was lower than in dried kibbled grains. Flattened grains feeding of pigs can completely replace the dry cereal.

Livestock

Crushed grains can also be consumed by livestock. Crushed grains increase daily mass and the coefficient of utilization in broilers.

This is related to energy content of wrought grain, which is 25% higher than dried cereals. Increased energy content is a consequence of low glucose B, which results in a lower viscosity of intestinal contents. It is a similar effect as in the enzyme gluconate B. Compared with dried grains, digestibility of lysine and threonyne is improving feeding of poultry for slaughter with crushed grains. Similarly as in the case of pigs, improves digestibility and phosphorus.

About kneading brief

- Collecting yield perform 3-4 weeks before the normal period, while the grains are yellowish. The optimum moisture content of grain for this technology is 30-40%.

- Mashing is performed on the field or on-site storage through Murska kneading machines.

- Usage of additives is from 3-5 liters per ton.

- Storage can perform in silo-Trench, in hermetically sealed "sausages" or silo towers

- Paying attention to compression and coverage is important

- The usage of sealed grain can begin three weeks after the closing of the silo.

NEW  W-mashing TECHNOLOGY

Efficient and practical invention of Murska

- Murska W-Max is a powerful kneading machine which meets the requirements of the user. Capacity W-Max is almost 60 t / h (in the case of corn), and low power consumption. The new technology of grinding-kneading guarantee perfect results.

- W-roller can be used for dried grain and grain, which contains moisture during the collection and for the following crops: oats, barley, wheat, corn, peas, beans, and cereal mixture.

- It is particularly suitable for a mixture of beans and peas.

- An optional control system is easy to use. Kneading machine includes automatic control of filling and dosing of preservatives based on the moisture content of the grain. Upon completion of work the system sends a message to a mobile phone, then the entrepreneur is sending invoice. The report contains details of the time and the added preservatives and volume of wrought grains. The system displays received data. In addition, the control system takes care of the safety of the user and equipment. In the case of termination it sends the information to the user and stops the supply of grain.

- Usage of the Murska W-Max is a extremely fun. Adjusting of kneading is easy, but it is rarely necessary. Service points are easily accessible. Developed system of users control frees users worry about preservatives dosage and kneaded grain quantity. Question: is there an easier way of preserving grain?

UPGRADE YOUR Kernel with "sausage" filling machine

Storage of grain in the "sausage" is a cost-effective and simple solution since it is not necessary to invest in expensive silos and projects to build similar facilities

Kernel equipped with Murska rollers equipped with filler crushes collected wet grain and adds a preservative and fills it in airtight "sausages" - all within one single process. Kneaded grain represents food which is ready for feeding livestock and poultry.

Filling of "sausages" is possible in length of 60 m and a diameter of 2,0 m where fits about 180 m3  of quality and compact grain.

Filling in the "sausage" is excelent, especially in those households that buy only part of the grain. In their case the transport of grain is often done in an irregular manner, and in the process of kneading can reach several-day break. Filling in "sausage" and conservation may be discontinued without extra work.

Murska filler

Filler Murska is separated filling machine, which can be connected to the mill or hopper. Filler, with its hopper is suitable not only for the preservation of grain, but also other substances.

Composting in bags - economically and quickly

Composting in bags is environmentally friendly method by which the fertilizer can be converted into a soil rich in minerals. Composting in bags is more intense due to air flow caused by the fan and the heating effect of black plastic sheeting. Weight is reduced by about one third, and it becomes hygienic, homogeneous and odorless.

What is the purpose of composting in bags?

Composting in bags does not require any isolation of the soil, as well as a drain.

Bag composting allows easy and quick treatment of waste.
